This unit was built in a representative location in front of the new building of the Krick publishing company near Wuerzburg. The system is operated continuously and successful without familiarising the users of this Country Reference Unit with the details of the technique.

The EuroDish system was installed on the site of the research institute, close to the famous solar furnace of Odeillo. The Country Reference System is exposed to the particularly hard operational conditions of a mountain site in 1600 m altitude with very high solar irradiation and extreme frost and snowfall during winter.
